Tea Stories
White Tea
Delicate · Honeyed · Barely processed
Roots
White tea is the quietest of the true teas, made from the youngest buds and tender new leaves. It is barely processed — gently dried, never oxidized — so almost nothing stands between you and the plant itself.
Character
Light, floral, a little honeyed. The caffeine sits lower than green or black, and the flavor is delicate enough that you notice every note: the pale gold of the liquor, the softness of the aroma, the way it finishes clean.
Why we chose it
Because nuance deserves a place on the shelf. We choose white teas that reward attention, and we built our Lavender sugar specifically for those slower evenings when white tea is exactly the cup you want.
Steep for 4:00
175°F
White tea rewards patience. Four full minutes at a gentle temperature. The liquor comes out pale gold — almost clear — and the flavor is all in the finish.
